FAT JOE has blasted the widow of his former protege, BIG PUN, accusing her of blowing cash hand-outs in “unwise” shopping sprees.
Liza Rios recently hit out at Joe, her husband’s boss at label Terror Squad, claiming she is owed royalties from his records, but has never been paid.
Rios alleges she was handed a $160,000 (£107,000) lump sum when Big Pun – real name Christopher Rios – died in 2000, but has never seen a penny since.
She complained, “There’s no money comin’ in, there’s just money comin’ out.”
The accusations prompted Joe to hit back at her in an interview with New York radio station Hot 97. He claimed he had given Rios money, but she came back asking for more, admitting to him she had “spent the money unwisely”.
