Mumbai, Feb 9 (IANS) Actor Ronit Roy, who plays the lead role in “Itna Karo Na Mujhe Pyar”, will soon show off his fighting skills in an upcoming episode of the popular TV show, but with a comical twist.
The show has a wedding sequence going on, in which characters essayed by Ronit and Pallavi Kulkarni, will experience a scary yet funny incident. Ragini (Pallavi) will forget her bag at a venue and Neil (Ronit) decides to accompany her to get it since it is late in the night.
On their way back home, the estranged couple will realise that the tyre of their car is punctured by some nails scattered on the road. While they are stranded on the deserted road, some goons will try to rob the couple of their belongings.
In order to protect Pallavi, Niel will fight with them to protect her.
However, it will not be much of an action sequence, as a comic angle to it will be served when Ragini will ask the goons who they are. Neil, in a sarcastic yet funny manner, will respond that they are Suresh, Ramesh, Bhavesh and so on.
This will lead to an argument between the couple, due to which the goons would get irritated and ask them to stop the husband-wife squabble.
“Itna Karo Na Mujhe Pyar” is aired on Sony Entertainment Television.

Abhishek Rawat to play introvert in ‘Service Wali Bahu’
TV actor Abhishek Rawat, best known for his roles in shows like “Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo” and “Mann Kee Awaaz Pratigya”, will next be seen portraying the role of male protagonist Dev opposite actress Kratika Sengar in upcoming show “Service Wali Bahu”.
The story of the soap opera deals with the problem of new-age dowry system in India and how a family looks for a working lady for their son, who can help her in-laws financially post marriage.
“I have portrayed a mix of characters ranging from those with grey shades to positive roles, so it was a challenge for me to play the rather subdued, understated character of Dev in this show,” Abhishek said in a statement.
Talking about his character, he said: “Dev is an introvert. He does not express his feelings easily, always puts forth his family’s needs before his own personal interests. I’ve worked on my demeanor and body language to capture the essence of my character perfectly.”
“‘Service Wali Bahu’ is a very unique subject and every character has been well etched out. I am sure our attempt to curb this unhealthy practice by creating awareness through this show will be appreciated.”
Kratika will be seen essaying the role of Payal Rai in the show.
“Service Wali Bahu” will be aired on Zee TV.

Darshan Pandya finds Ronit fun-loving
TV actor Darshan Pandya, who is playing the role of Aman in the popular TV show “Itna Karo Na Mujhe Pyar”, shares a close bond with his co-stars Ronit Roy and Pallavi Kulkarni.
As most of their scenes are shot together, the trio spend a lot of their time interacting with each other off screen.
Ronit and Darshan are often seen goofing around on the set, which leaves Pallavi puzzled, said a source.
“Ronit comes across as a very serious and reserved person, but in reality, he is a fun loving and an amazing guy to work with. He makes everyone around comfortable and ensure everyone has a good time on set,” Darshan said in a statement.
The actor’s funny side was seen recently on the sets when they were shooting for an intense emotional scene. Neil (Ronit) and Aman were fighting over Ragini (Pallavi), but they couldn’t make it intense as every time the director said ‘action’, both the actors started laughing loudly.
“When we were shooting the argument scene, every time we had to make an angry face at each other, we would burst out laughing. Pallavi would be completely surprised and confused as to what was happening making us laugh ever more,” Darshan added.
