Mumbai, April 7 (IANS) Telecommunications major Vodafone is set to launch a campaign featuring the popular advertisement character “Zoozoos” in commercial breaks during the 2015 Indian Premier League (IPL).
The advertisement campaigns featuring the alien-like taper headed creature named “Zoozoos” were an instant hit with the audience.
The company is bringing the character back with the objective of highlighting the data speed of the mobile network in a campaign titled “Speed is Good”.
“IPL is the biggest sporting platform in the country designed to appeal to a wide audience with high clutter and frequency during a very compact period,” Ronita Mitra, senior vice president of brand communications and insight, Vodafone, said in a statement on Tuesday.
“The campaign is made up of short but charming and memorable stories whereas customers use their fast 3G network to bring a smile to someone’s face”, the company said.
