Mumbai, May 6 (IANS) After his 57-run knock against Mumbai Indians, Delhi Daredevils batsman Yuvraj Singh said he is unperturbed by critics and is keen to answer them only with the willow.

Yuvraj’s late blitz helped Delhi Daredevils post 152 for six, but in reply Ambati Rayudu and Rohit Sharma displayed excellent batting skills to help Mumbai reach 153 for five in 19.3 overs, thus registering a five-wicket victory in their Indian Premier League (IPL) encounter here on Tuesday.
“My job is to play cricket, critics’ job is to write. So I don’t really read or watch what comes on television, I don’t have that much of time in my life at the moment. So I just try and stick to my job,” Yuvraj said at the post match press conference on Tuesday.
Speaking of his own batting, he said, “I was hitting the ball well. I was getting few 20s and not getting 35-plus scores. IPL is a format where you can’t assess consistently, you have to win games for your team. My job is to play and win it for my team.”
With four wins from 10 matches, Delhi has to win all their last four clashes to stay in play-off hunt.
“Now it’s do-or-die situation for us. We have got four games and we need to win four. It’s going to be tough but not impossible. I remember Kolkata Knight Riders winning six or seven matches in a row to qualify and win the tournament. We will try our best,” Yuvraj concluded.
