Kolkata, May 6 (IANS) FMCG major Dabur India is aggressively targeting the baby care segment with plans to launch several products, a company official said here Wednesday.

“Currently we are present in the baby massage and baby digestive category with a turnover of around Rs.130 crore. But we are looking to expand steadily in the segment,” Dabur Mother and child Care category head Ramarao Dhamija said during the launch of its baby massage oil here.
“We want to be a serious player in the baby care segment. We would like to get into all the spaces that are there including personal care. As we go there will be slew of launches of products,” he said.
“We are targeting the segment aggressively and are looking at making investments in this category. As regards the quantum of the investment, that we cannot disclose now,” said Dhamija.
He said the company was in the process of evaluating the products to be launched including baby soaps, shampoo and hair oil.
The company has roped in famed actress Konkona Sen Sharma to endorse its baby care products.
