Kolkata, Sep 12 (Inditop.com) Former Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) chief Raj Singh Dungarpur, who died Saturday, was an “institution” whose contribution to the game will be forever remembered, Jagmohan Dalmiya, himself a former board chief, said in a condolence message.
“No one can take away his contribution to Indian cricket,” Dalmiya said, adding: “He was associated with the game for over 50 years and was an institution by himself.”
“We spent some great moments together. Indian cricket will find it hard to fill the void created today,” he said.
Dungarpur, 74, died in Mumbai Saturday after a prolonged illness.
