Bengaluru, June 2 (IANS) Karnataka will receive rain for the second consecutive day on Tuesday, a Meteorological Department forecast said.

All the districts of Karnataka received rain on Monday, with the entire state witnessing 41.7 cm rain, officials said. Dharwad and Tumakuru recorded a heavy downpour respectively of seven and nine cm, officials said.
The weatherman forecast a partly cloudy sky for Bengaluru, with possibility of rain or thunderstorm. On Monday, HAL Airport received 4 cm rain while Bengaluru city witnessed a drizzle.
The maximum and minimum temperatures were likely to be around 31 and 21 degrees Celsius.
On Monday, Bengaluru recorded the maximum of 31 degrees Celsius, which is the season’s average, while the minimum was 20.7 degrees Celsius, which too matched the season’s average, officials said.
Gulbarga recorded the maximum of 39.1 degrees Celsius on Monday.
