New Delhi, June 8 (IANS) Around 6,000 forms for non-collegiate women students were sold on the first day as the admission registration process to Delhi University’s Non Collegiate Women’s Education Board (NCWEB) commenced here on Monday, a release said.
The application process is offline and students can collect the pre-admission optical mark recognition (OMR) form, along with the admission pamphlet from four centres — Kalindi College, Shyama Prasad Mukherji College, Maharaja Agrasen College and P.G.D.A.V College between 10.00 a.m. and 3.00 p.m.
Candidates can select the college and course they want to pursue in the pre-admission forms which can be submitted till June 24, 2015.
There are 284 seats for B.A. programme and 184 seats for B.Com in all the centres, together.
Unlike admission to other Delhi University colleges, candidates here are allowed to include not more than one vocational subject in the best of four marks.
For B.A. programme, the student must include one language and three best scored subjects wherein one can be vocational.
Only women students residing in the National Capital Territory of Delhi can enrol themselves as students of the NCWEB, a unique system with lectures on weekends leaving students with five working days to follow their dream.
