New Delhi, June 11 (IANS) It was a hot Thursday in the national capital with the maximum temperature recorded at 41.3 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season’s average. The Met office has forecast a partly cloudy Friday.
It also predicted dust storms in some parts of the city.
The maximum and the minimum temperatures of the day are likely to hover around 42 and 29 degrees Celsius respectively.
“Friday is going to be partly cloudy and dust storms are likely to happen in some parts of the city,” said an official of the India Meteorological Department.
The minimum temperature on Thursday settled at 29.6 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season’s average.
Wednesday’s maximum temperature was 41.7 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season’s average while the minimum temperature was recorded at 31.6 degrees Celsius, four notches above the season’s average.
