Srinagar, June 20 (IANS) Jammu and Kashmir is likely to experience rain and thunderstorms over the next three to four days, starting Saturday, the Met Office said.
“We are expecting light to moderate rainfall accompanied by thundershowers in the state from June 21 to June 24,” a weather official told IANS here.
The weather office has forecast a clear and dry weather across the state after June 24.
Meanwhile, it was a partly sunny Saturday morning here with the minimum temperature settling at 15.9 degrees Celsius.
“Gulmarg and Pahalgam recorded minimum temperatures of 10.5 degrees and 10.6 degrees Celsius today,” the Met official said.
In Ladakh region, sky will remain partly cloudy. Leh town and Kargil towns recorded minimum temperatures of 8.2 degrees and 9.2 degrees Celsius respectively.
In Jammu region, there is a possibility of light rain on Saturday evening, while the maximum temperature is likely to hover around 41 degrees.
The minimum temperature in Jammu city was 29.5 degrees Celsius.
