Faridabad, June 21 (IANS) Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said on Sunday that yoga was key to good health and it is wrong to relate it to a religion.

He also noted that celebration of International Day of Yoga had raised India’s prestige.
Naqvi, who participated in the first International Yoga Day at an event here, said Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s commitment had led to yoga getting more respect in the world.
Modi had proposed an International Yoga Day at the UN General Assembly in September 2014, which was accepted by the world body.
“The entire world is celebrating the yoga day today which is a proud moment for India. It has increased India’s prestige,” he said.
Naqvi said it was wrong to relate yoga to a religion and it was related to health, mind and soul.
“Yoga is key to good health and good health is the biggest wealth of a person,” he said.
