London, Sep 15 (Inditop.com) A British society beauty had a drunken sex romp with a male passenger — while his girlfriend slept — and caused mayhem on a Bangalore-London Kingfisher flight, a London court was told Monday.

As Clare Irby, a 30-year-old descendant of the family that owns Guinness beer, allowed herself to be fondled by Daniel Melia, she ignored the screams of her two-year-old son.

Melia “grabbed and fondled” her breasts — and later had an angry row with his girlfriend, model Sarah Hannon, when she woke up, the court heard.

Irby and Melia, 36, were arrested when the Airbus A330 landed at Heathrow March 26 last year.

Irby, who had been holidaying in Goa, became “disruptive” around three hours into the 11-hour Kingfisher Airlines Flight 001, Isleworth Crown Court heard.

Bill McGivern, prosecuting, told the jury Irby had repeatedly pushed the call button to summon members of the cabin crew, begging them for wine.

Irby became disruptive three hours into the 11-hour flight as it cruised at more than 30,000 feet by repeatedly demanding red wine for her and Melia as other passengers tried to sleep.

She wrongly claimed staff had lost a bag containing diamonds and demanded a bottle of wine in recompense, it was claimed.

When staff stopped serving Irby, who was estimated to have shared at least three bottles of wine with Melia, she “showed the finger” to one stewardess and called another a bitch, the court heard.

When told the captain had ordered them not to be served any more drinks, the pair allegedly shouted: “You can’t say no to us.”

Later Irby pulled up her yellow skirt and revealed her black G-string in full view of other passengers to put on a pair of leggings.

She also allegedly threw a soiled nappy in an empty seat and left her son to run naked round the cabin, the court heard.

Arpita Mehra, one of the flight attendants who had to deal with Irby, said: “She was not in a state to take care of the child, he was all on his own, she was not taking care of him, she was busy with the guy behind.

“They were both having a conversation, getting personal with each other, while the child was crying.

“I saw the gentleman grabbing hold of her breasts in the cabin and both of them were kissing each other.”

McGivern said: “They were both loud, drinking. One passenger became concerned for the defendant’s son, who was two or three years old who at one stage was running around the aircraft naked.”

Cabin crew director Saloni Khanna, wearing the trademark Kingfisher red uniform, said Irby told her she had lost a bag containing important things including diamonds and a laptop, and wanted a bottle of red wine in return.

Khanna offered to launch a security check on the plane to search for the valuables — which were later found anyway.

Khanna said: “I went up to them and said they would have to start behaving themselves and people were objecting to their behaviour. The lady asked me to go away and showed me the middle finger.”

Khanna said that while Irby slept with her feet up against the headrest and her knickers showing, her “exceptionally cute” son had soiled his nappies.

Asked by Irby’s counsel if she looked “extremely tired”, Khanna replied: “No, she looked more like she was sloshed than tired.”

Irby, of Fulham, South-West London, denied being drunk on an aircraft.
