Mumbai, June 28 (IANS) Veteran actor Anil Kapoor was quite a naughty child at school, he revealed and shared that he also was among the backbenchers.

“I was a backbencher and my favourite teacher was the one who never used to shout at me, and would easily forgive me for my mistakes,” Anil said here while promoting P&G Shiksha, a flagship corporate social responsibility programme.
Nevertheless, the “Dil Dhadakne Do” actor truly believes in the importance of education.
“Education plays a very important role in a child’s life and helps them grow into successful individuals. I have three children and as parents, we understand the importance of providing good quality education to them, which helps them in taking decisions independently in the future,” Anil added.
He said his school days are special for him as he is still friends with those whom he met in the first standard.
“I have some of the best memories from school. The fun we had, studying together, playing together, I remember all that,” he said.

No stress, strain for kids in ‘Indian Idol Junior’: Dadlani
Vishal Dadlani of music composer duo Vishal-Shekhar, who is on the judging panel of the singing reality show “Indian Idol Junior”, says the team ensures the young participants undergo no stress and are guided well.
“In our show, we have Anand Sharmaji (chief vocal coach). He is one of the most experienced and most caring people in the music field. We make sure that the juniors have no stress and no strain,” Dadlani said.
He shares the judges’ panel with Sonakshi Sinha, Shalmali Kholgade and Salim Merchant.
Dadlani believes there should be a filter for the kind of songs the children sing.
“This is the age where we should keep the kids away from vulgarity and such songs. It’s our responsibility too as judges to do so…At this point, the children need correct guidance and the right kind of training,” he added.
The show airs on Sony Entertainment Television.

Zoya knows exactly what she wants: Rahul Bose
Acclaimed actor Rahul Bose, who worked under Zoya Akhtar’s direction for the first time in “Dil Dhadakne Do”, says she knows her work very well and still she’s open to suggestions.
“Zoya knows exactly what she wants, but is willing to experiment on how to get there. She will give an actor all the freedom the actor wants but she won’t compromise on the aim and intent of the scene. She has a clear idea of who each character is,” Rahul told IANS.
“Dil Dhadakne Do”, released earlier this month, saw an ensemble cast of actors like Anil Kapoor, Shefali Shah, Farhan Akhtar, Ranveer Singh, Priyanka Chopra and Anushka Sharma.
Rahul said it’s been “one of the most satisfying film experiences” for him.
“All the actors worked incredibly hard. Everyone came to the sets having done their homework and was open to improvisations. It was a great experience on and off screen,” he added.
