New Delhi, July 16 (IANS) The Delhi Metro museum on Thursday organised a workshop for children undergoing treatment for cancer.

As part of the workshop, they were taken on a Metro ride from the AIIMS station to the Patel Chowk station, and given a guided tour of the Metro Museum.
They were also shown a presentation on the basic facilities available in the Metro in case of any medical emergency. They also participated in a drawing competition.
“Some short films on the basic etiquette of Metro travel were also screened,” a Delhi Metro statement said.
Thirty children from ages three to 18, who are currently undergoing treatment for different stages of the disease, participated in the workshop.
