Coimbatore, July 17 (IANS) The second round of the Indian National Rally Championship for two wheelers will be held here on July 19 with about 40 riders in the fray and competing in different categories.

The organisers — Coimbatore Auto Sports Club (CASC) — have prepared one physical Special Stage of 25.15 km which will be run twice on Sunday on the outskirts of the city.
The first round of the championship was held in Nashik in May when Aravind K.P. emerged the overall winner. He will again head the grid here along with riders of proven ability like V.S. Naresh and Nataraj Rajanna.
Apart from bikes of different makes such as TVS, Hero, Bajaj and Mahindra, there will be scooters and Royal Enfield Bullet contending for the honours, according to the organisers.
The total distance of the rally is about 140 km. The documentation, pre-event scrutiny and drivers’ briefing will be held on Saturday while the rally will be run on Sunday.
