Mumbai, Jan 29 (IANS) Leading conglomerate Larsen and Toubro (L & T) on Friday said it posted a rise of 23.61 percent in consolidated net profit for the quarter ending December 2015, at Rs.1,181.64 crore as against Rs.955.91 crore in the same quarter last fiscal.
According to the consolidated unaudited financial results posted on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), L & T earned a total income of Rs.25,829.26 crore in the quarter under review against Rs.23,847.86 crore in Q3 of 2014-15 and incurred total expenses of Rs.23,799.19 crore against Rs.21,641.12 crore incurred in the same quarter last fiscal.
L & T’s senior vice president for buildings, minerals and metals vertical M.V. Satish has been appointed asA a whole-time director of the company effective from January 29, 2016 for a period of five years, the company said in the regulatory filing.
