Pune, Jan 29 (IANS) Wind turbine supplier Suzlon on Friday said it posted a standalone net profit of Rs.110.10 crore for the quarter ending December 2015, as against a standalone loss of Rs.4,959.59 crore incurred in the same quarter of the previous fiscal.

According to the unaudited standalone financial results posted on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), Suzlon earned a total income of Rs.1,328.27 crore in the quarter under review against Rs.289.09 crore in the same period last fiscal, while total expenses rose to Rs.1,150.43 crore from Rs.424.03 crore incurred in the year ago quarter.
On a consolidated basis, Suzlon’s third quarter losses of fiscal 2015-16 fell to Rs.113.76 crore from Rs.6,533.57 crore in the same period of 2014-15.
Total income declined to Rs.1,891.30 crore from Rs.4,977.18 crore while total expenses also fell to Rs.1,749.31 crore from Rs.4,948.34 crore.
