New Delhi: Anil Ambani-led Reliance Infrastructure has bagged the “Safety Innovation Award-2009” for its 500-MW coal based thermal power plant at Dahanu in Maharashtra.
The Dahanu Thermal Power Station (DTPS) has been recognised by the Safety and Quality Forum of the Institution of Engineers, Delhi, for its operational excellence, environment management, quality, safety and corporate social responsibility.
The awards will be presented by S.S. Khurana, chairman of the Railway Board, Sep 22 at the “Safety Convention-2009”, organised by the Institution of Engineers.
