New Delhi, Oct 6 (Inditop.com) Overcast skies and cool winds brought down mercury levels in the capital, giving Delhiites a pleasant Tuesday.
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the reason for this change in weather is a cyclonic circulation over central Pakistan and Maharashtra, which has resulted in moisture-laden easterly winds blowing over Delhi. Until early Tuesday, Delhi received 3.5 mm of rainfall.
“It will mostly be a cloudy day, with rains towards the latter half of the day. Although the minimum temperature dropped to 22.6 degrees Celsius, it was still two degrees above the average,” an IMD official said. The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 27 degree celsius.
“The skies are predicted to clear by Wednesday,” the official added.
