Chennai, Oct 12 (Inditop.com) The exit of PMK has not weakened the AIADMK-led alliance, Tamil Nadu’s Leader of Opposition and AIADMK general secretary J. Jayalalitha said here Monday.

Speaking to reporters at AIADMK party headquarters, Jayalalitha said: “The AIADMK alliance has not been affected because of PMK’s exit.”

AIADMK lost an ally as PMK Oct 4 decided to snap its ties with it.

The decision came at a meeting of the PMK working council, held at Thailapuram near Dindivanam, around 125 km from here, under the chairmanship of G.K. Mani. The meet was also attended by PMK founder S. Ramadoss.

Jayalalitha said joining hands with new allies will be decided only during the election time.

According to her, the delegation of MPs belonging to the ruling alliance which went to Sri Lanka to see the condition of Sri Lankan Tamils living in camps was an eyewash.
