Patna, Oct 21 (Inditop.com) In a rare event, buffaloes are being dressed up and paraded to do the ‘catwalk’ in Bihar’s Madhepura town to draw people’s attention to their plight.
Over a dozen well decorated buffaloes took part in a show to display their beauty and style in Madhepura town, about 350 km from here, earlier this week.
“We had organised a buffalo catwalk, a rare event, to attract people’s attention to their plight and to respect and care for them,” Prabhat Kumar, the man behind the show, told Inditop.
A buffalo named Radha was declared the winner and an award of Rs.500 was given to her owner.
Scores of people had gathered in the open fields to enjoy the show.
After the successful event in Madhepura, Kumar is upbeat and plans to hold similar shows at different places in Bihar and elsewhere. “My dream is to organise a buffalo catwalk at the national and international levels,” he said.
