New Delhi, Oct 21 (Inditop.com) The Congress Wednesday expressed the hope that it will form the new governments in Maharashtra, Haryana and Arunachal Pradesh where elections to state assemblies were held last week.

“We hope that we will form the governments in all the three states,” party spokesperson and MP Jayanthi Natarajan told reporters here.

The three states voted Oct 13 to elect the state assemblies, from which the new state governments will be formed. The votes will be counted Thursday.

Natarajan said the election results would further prove that the Congress was “highly responsible for the needs of the poor” of the country and that the party would continue to carry forward its legacy.
