Chandigarh, Oct 22 (Inditop.com) Former chief minister Bhajan Lal’s younger son Kuldeep Bishnoi, who is president of the Haryana Janhit Congress (HJC), Thursday made his debut in the Haryana assembly by winning the polls from his father’s traditional seat.

Bishnoi won from Adampur by a margin of 6,015 votes over his Congress rival Jai Prakash.

The margin was small given his father Bhajan Lal’s hold over the seat. Lal had won the seat in February 2005 by nearly 71,000 votes.

HJC was floated by Bishnoi and Lal after they broke away from the Congress in December 2007. Bishnoi was earlier a Congress MP from the Bhiwani Lok Sabha seat.
