Srinagar, Jan 12 (Inditop.com) Dry, cold weather continued Tuesday in the Kashmir valley and Ladakh.
“The minimum temperature in Srinagar Tuesday was minus 3.6 degrees Celsius. The minimum in Leh was minus 22 degrees while in Kargil it was minus 16.4 degrees,” said an official of the local weather department here.
In comparison to Monday, when the minimum in Srinagar was minus 4.6 degrees, the slight rise in the night temperature in Srinagar is attributed to a partial cloud cover during the night here.
“Dry, cold weather conditions are expected to continue for a few more days as there is no system build-up anywhere in the vicinity of the valley,” the official said.
