Chittagong, Jan 18 (Inditop.com) Bangladesh finished the second day at 59 for the loss of three wickets against India in the first cricket Test here Monday.
Raqibul Hasan (1) and Mohammad Ashraful (0) were at the crease.
India were bowled out for 243 in the morning just before lunch.
Only 24.5 overs were bowled during the day due to poor visibility caused by dense fog. For the second consecutive day, play started late by 90 minutes.
Resuming at 213/8, India added another 30 runs to their total before folding up. Sachin Tendulkar, who guided the Indian innings past 200 after the batting collapse Sunday, remained not out at 105.
India lost Ishant Sharma and S. Sreesanth in the morning. Skipper Shakib Al Hasan (5-62) and paceman Shahadat Hossain (5-71) picked up one wicket each to complete their respective five-wicket hauls.
Bangladesh were 21 for no loss at lunch but lost three wickets in the second session before poor light forced players back to the pavilion. The umpires inspected the conditions twice but the light was not sufficient for resumption of play.
