Shimla, Feb 18 (Inditop.com) The World Bank has agreed to provide a loan of $450 million to Himachal Pradesh for sustainable environmental growth, an official statement said Thursday.
“The World Bank has agreed in principle to sanction a Programmatic Development Policy Loan of $450 million,” the statement quoted Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal as saying.
Dhumal was in Washington Wednesday to meet World Bank officials.
