Lucknow, March 30 (Inditop.com) Congress president Sonia Gandhi will Wednesday visit her parliamentary constituency Rae Bareli in Uttar Pradesh and review the ongoing centrally-sponsored developmental projects there, a party official said Tuesday.
“Sonia Gandhi will arrive at around 11 a.m. in Rae Bareli. She will preside over a meeting of the district vigilance and monitoring committee that reviews the development projects,” Congress spokesperson Akhilesh Pratap Singh told reporters here.
She is expected to make surprise visits and meet locals to evaluate the execution of the projects funded by the central government, he added.
Gandhi will return to New Delhi in the evening after meeting some party activists.
