New Delhi, Jan 30 (Inditop.com) A shallow fog enveloped the national capital early Saturday, but quickly gave way to clear sunshine.

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the minimum temperature was 12 degrees Celsius, four degrees above average. The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 24 degrees Celsius.

“There was a shallow fog till about 7.30 a.m. today, after which it cleared and gave way to a clear day. The visibility level was 500 metres,” an IMD official told Inditop.

With the weather remaining clear, flight operations at the Indira Gandhi International (IGI) airport were normal for the third consecutive day.

“Flight operations have been as per schedule since there was no fog since last night,” an airport official said.
