Kolkata, Dec 7 (IANS) Over 460 participants, nearly two-thirds of them from abroad, are expected to participate in the country’s leading quality construction machinery show, BC India-A Bauma Conexpo Show, to be held in Mumbai Feb 8-11, 2011.
The four-day fair will showcase latest knowledge and technology concerning modern construction and mining machinery, said S.K. Basu, vice president (eastern region), Builders Association of India.
Nine countries – Australia, China, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, South Korea, Spain and Britain – would have pavilions at the show.
The construction and mining industry is the second largest contributor to the Gross Domestic Product after the agriculture industry. The construction and mining industry accounts for 20 percent GDP of the nation every year.
