Kolkata, Feb 12 (Inditop.com) Jute mill workers in West Bengal called off their indefinite strike after signing a tri-partite agreement in the presence of the minister incharge of the labour department here Friday.

The pact would come into effect from Sunday.

The workers of 52 jute mills in the state went on strike Dec 14 demanding stoppage of unfair labour practices, payment of statutory dues, clearance of arrears of dearness allowances, regularization of contract workers and deduction of provident fund and ESI contribution on actual wages.
