New Delhi, June 8 (IANS) The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) Tuesday sealed unauthorised commercial spaces at Inderlok Metro station, which also houses shops of reputed brands.
‘The MCD has sealed about 59 points at 47 entry gates of the complex, which includes the premises of McDonald, Raymond and Big Bazaar,’ said Renu Krishnan Jagdev, the deputy commissioner of the MCD’s Sadar Pahar Ganj Zone.
The action was taken as per a March 3 order of the civic body, she said, adding that the private developer that constructed the mall after an agreement with Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) had violated rules by not securing the MCD permission.
