New Delhi, Jan 25 (IANS) Panasonic India has launched Eluga Turbo – its 4G-enabled smartphone with 1.5 GHz 64 bit Octa Core processor, 3GB RAM and 32GB internal memory — that will be available on the e-commerce website Snapdeal for Rs.10,999 from Wednesday.
“India’s technology market in 2016 will be focusing on ‘Make in India’ and 4G enabled devices. With the rollout of 4G/LTE telecommunications technology, we have developed new 4G/LTE compatible models across our product range to provide consumers with a premium design and performance,” Pankaj Rana, business head of mobility division at Panasonic India, said in a statement on Monday.
Powered by Android 5.1 (lollipop) operating system, the Eluga Turbo comprises of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on the front and Japan-based Asahi’s Dragontrail glass on the back.
With a sleek 6.95mm profile featuring on a 5-inch IPS display, which renders wider viewing angles and great daylight readability, the smartphone comes with the FitHome user interface developed exclusively by Panasonic for single thumb-flick access to applications on the home screen.
Eluga Turbo comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash that supports 1080p video recording at 30 frames-per-second and a 5-megapixel front camera.
The phone has a 2,350mAh capacity battery for longer operations. Its onboard 32GB memory can be further expanded by a 32GB memory card.
The smartphone will be available in marine blue, champagne gold and rose gold colours on Snapdeal.
