New Delhi, May 31 (IANS) State-owned Pawan Hans Helicopters Limited (PHHL) is planning to connect Vrindavan and Mathura with New Delhi considering the high potential of religious tourism of the two cities.

The company Thursday said it is also mulling linking Muzaffarnagar, Meerut, Mathura and Agra to Delhi.
“A technical team of Pawan Hans has already visited Vrindavan and Mathura and had discussions on the helipad sites, security, passengers facilitation with the local administration,” said a company spokesperson.
“PHHL would soon hold discussions with the Uttar Pradesh government for the necessary support.”
The company said it will explore opportunities in medical tourism in the new sectors by providing transportation services to critically ill patients to multi-speciality hospitals in the national capital.
