Kolkata, Dec 16 (Inditop.com) Software solutions and service provider Ramco Systems expects its revenue to touch $55 million in the current fiscal (2009-10) up from last fiscal’s (2008-09) $50 million, a company official said here Wednesday.
“We are looking at a 15-20 percent growth of our number of orders this year. Last year we received 40 new orders,” Balaji Rangachari, practice head-manufacturing and infrastructure, said at a press conference.
Ramco provides solutions in consulting, enterprise solutions and outsourcing services to various companies.
Ramco is pursuing 15 orders in Sudan, Libya and Nigeria, he said.
“We are looking at both public and private sector markets in the Middle East and South Africa,” Rangachari said.
The company is eyeing these markets as most of these regions remained untouched by the global economic slowdown and has a growing information technology (IT) sector, he said.
“In the Middle East we are looking at e-governance, manufacturing and human resource sectors,” he added.
At present, the company provides software solutions to companies in Europe and the US, apart from India.
Ramco Systems is a part of the $800-million Ramco Group.
