Mumbai, Sep 15 (Inditop.com) The benchmark index of the Bombay Stock Exchange did well in the first minutes of trading Tuesday, opening in the green and staying there.
The Sensex opened at 16,255.42 points, above Monday’s closing figure of 16,214.19. At 10.33 a.m., after more than 40 minutes of trading, it was at 16,352.05 points, 137.86 points or 0.85 percent above Monday’s close.
The broader S&P CNX Nifty index of the National Stock Exchange was at 4,862.70 points around the same time, 1.11 percent above its previous close at 4,808.60 points.
