Mumbai, Sep 9 (Inditop.com) A key index of the Indian equities markets pulled up higher into the green in late trading Wednesday to end 59 points above its last closing figure.
The 30-scrip sensitive index (Sensex) of the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), which opened at 16,111.09 points, closed at 16,182.99 points (provisional), up 59.32 points or 0.36 percent higher than Tuesday’s close.
The Nifty of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) ended at 4,816.85 points, up 0.24 percent or 11 points.
Broader market indices ended flat, with the BSE midcap index ending 0.06 percent higher and the BSE smallcap index up 0.08 percent.
