Mumbai, May 13 (Inditop) Indian markets crawled back into the green about an hour before closing bell Wednesday with a key index moving up 310 points from the day’s low to rule about 66 points above its previous close.
The 30-scrip sensitive index (Sensex) of the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), which opened at 12,201.93 points, was ruling 86.13 points or 0.71 percent higher at 12,244.16 points.
Similarly, the S&P CNX Nifty of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) gained 0.7 percent from the previous close to trade at 3,707.05 points.
Broader market indices were also ruling in the green, with the BSE midcap index gaining 1.55 percent and the BSE smallcap index up 1.07 percent.
