Bangalore, Dec 14 (IANS) Project management firm Synergy Property Development Services Tuesday announced that it had won a Rs.500-crore project to build the research and development (R&D) facility of China’s global telecom major Huawei in this tech hub.
‘The project work will be demanding to prove our capabilities for a global telecom player like Huawei within strict delivery schedules,’ Synergy founder and managing director Sankey Prasad said in a statement here.
As project management consultancy, Synergy will be responsible for time, cost, quality and environmental health and safety standards.
The campus, to be built on 20 acres at Whitefield on the outskirts of the city by 2012, will have a software development centre, residential apartments, cafeteria and multi-level car parking.
With a pan-India presence and overseas offices in Malaysia and the UAE, Synergy has developed about 100 million square feet of high value properties for retail malls, IT parks, special economic zones, campuses, hotels, hospitals and premium residences.
‘Our strength is the ability to deliver buildings to international standards within key parameters of cost, quality and schedule. Our project management processes are supported by innovative, hands-on delivery procedures, including a new online management information system (MIS), custom made for us by IBM,’ Prasad said.
