Chennai, July 1 (IANS) On a day when automobile makers were declaring their June sales numbers, car maker General Motors India on Wednesday announced top level organisational changes including creating new positions.

In a statement, the company said Kaher Kazem has been appointed as chief operating officer effective from August 1 to manage the industrial side of the company.
He was earlier president and managing director at General Motors, Uzbekistan.
In other appointments, Hardeep Singh Brar has been appointed vice president, sales and Jack Uppal as vice president, marketing and customer experience.
All the three appointees will report to Arvind Saxena, president and managing director, General Motors India.
Meanwhile Rajesh Singh, vice president, sales, service and marketing has decided to quit the company effective from August 1.
