Bangalore, Dec 15 (IANS) The lighting division of Indian IT major Wipro Ltd has won the coveted Design for Asia Award 2010 for its LED street light ‘Orio’ in the product category, the company said Wednesday.
The first Indian lighting firm to win an international design for Asia award, Wipro designed the LED (light-emitting diode) to illuminate secondary roads for software campuses, back-office facilities, industrial parks, educational campuses, commercial buildings and residential townships.
