Kolkata, Jan 1 (Inditop.com) IT services major Wipro Technologies Friday paid 25 per cent of the total Rs.76 crore (Rs.760 million) for its 50-acre second campus in Kolkata to the West Bengal government.
“Wipro on Friday paid Rs.18.90 crore to us, which is 25 percent of the total sum of Rs.76 crore that Wipro will pay for the land,” Housing Infrastructure Development Corporation (Hidco) managing director Saurabh Das said.
He said Wipro will pay the rest of the amount within the next 90 days, according to the contract.
