Srinagar, July 25 (Inditop.com) Two police officers, arrested for their alleged involvement in the rape and murder of two women in Shopian town in south Kashmir, moved their bail application in a court Saturday, a day after the apex court disposed of their petition.
The Supreme Court while disposing of the special leave petition (SLP) of Javed Iqbal Mattoo, former superintendent of police Shopian, and Rohit Baskotra, deputy superintendent of police, said the applicants would be at liberty to move their bail application before the sessions court at Shopian.
