New Delhi, Sep 20 (Inditop.com) A 36-year-old businessman was found murdered in a park in the national capital early Sunday, police said.
The body of Sandeep Jain, owner of a sweets shop, was found around 5.30 a.m. in the park in Vikaspuri area of west Delhi, a police officer said.
“We received a missing persons complaint from Jain’s family after he did not return home till late Saturday. In the morning (of Sunday), there was a call about a body lying in the park. Jain was identified by his family members,” the officer said.
According to police, Jain died of severe head injuries and personal enmity seems to be the motive behind the murder.
Jain’s father, Mahesh Jain, said: “He had left for Connaught Place in the evening to meet someone. He told us that he will be back by midnight. When he did not return hours after that, we approached the police as he did even pick his mobile phone.”
