Raipur, Aug 23 (Inditop.com) The state food department has seized pulses worth Rs.100 million (Rs.10 crore) during overnight raids in this Chhattisgarh capital, an official said Sunday.

In a drive against hoarders, raids were conducted in four locations in Raipur district Saturday night. Illegal stocks of over 40,000 quintals of grams were seized.

The official said more such raids would be carried out in other districts of the state to contain rising prices of pulses in the open market.
