Ghaziabad, Oct 8 (Inditop.com) A man was robbed of Rs.3 lakh by two criminals in Ghaziabad, police said Thursday.
According to police, Om Prakash, a resident of Pilkhuwa, bought a plot in the city and was to pay Rs.3 lakh to the land owner Thursday.
While on his way to make the payment, two men on a bike stopped Om Prakash’s two-wheeler and hit him with a helemt. While Om Prakash lost his balance and fell down, the men snatched his bag containing the cash from his son seated on the pillion and sped away.
The incident took place opposite the Central Bureau of Investigation Academy, police said.
“We have registered a case and are investigating it,” a police official said.
