Bhopal, Nov 13 (Inditop.com) A 30-year-old woman was Friday arrested here for allegedly killing her husband with the help of her paramour in this Madhya Pradesh capital, police said.
Vimla killed his 35-year-old husband Toran Singh Nov 5. She told police then that Toran was brought home in the berasia locality of the city in an unconscious state by two people, and after that he died.
However, police found that Vimla and Pratipal Singh had illicit relations and had planned to kill Toran.
“On being interrogated, Vimla broke down and confessed to have killed her husband with the help of Pratipal,” a police officer said.
“The woman first offered liquor to her husband and later strangulated him with the help of Pratipal,” the officer added.
Vimla told police that Toran used to ill-treat her and did not have a regular income.
The police officer said Toran was an alcoholic, which was the major cause of concern for his wife.
Vimla and Pratipal have been arrested, the officer added.
