New Delhi, July 2 (IANS) The Indian Institute of Technology-Delhi (IIT-D) Monday informed the Delhi High Court that before denying admission to a disabled student its medical board found his claim on the degree of his handicap to be false.
The institute said that the student, who moved the court after rejection of his application this year, participated in the medical examination before the board and was found to have 18 percent permanent disability instead of 40 percent as claimed by him.
