New Delhi, Sep 29 (IANS) Bollywood choreographer-director Farah Khan joined micro-blogging site Twitter Wednesday morning amid much cheer from the film industry.

Karan Johar, Mallika Sherawat, Riteish Deshmukh and Vishal-Shekhar, among others, gave a warm welcome to her.

‘Ok… introducing one of my oldest friends… the very talented and the super entertaining @thefarahkhan (Farah’s Twitter identity),’ posted Johar.

After Farah’s entry, Mallika wrote: ‘Twitter is now officially cool’.

Singer Sunidhi Chauhan said: ‘Queen Khan finally on Twitter. Let’s welcome her… It’s @TheFarahKhan.’

Music composer Vishal Dadlani described her as ‘one of the most viciously, witty, and also most real and wonderful human beings I know,’. His partner Shekhar said: ‘Let’s all welcome the coolest, the rocking and a very dear friend @thefarahkhan.’

Farah has possibly joined Twitter in the run up to the release of her next directorial venture ‘Tees Maar Khan’, starring Akshay Kumar. She says she is overwhelmed by the response.

‘I’m overwhelmed! I can hardly keep up with your response. How sweet you all are! (I have got) such a warm welcome. (I) Promise to be correct, but not politically,’ she posted in her trademark, nonchalant style.’

Nothing can beat this observation – flop actor Luv Sinha looks like Hollywood star Robert Pattinson!

Apparently someone told Luv of his uncanny resemblance with Pattinson, who played an endearing vampire in the ‘Twilight’ series.

‘Damn I can’t stop laughing. Someone commented that I look like Edward Cullen of ‘Twilight’! Seriously?’

The actor, who made his debut with box office dud ‘Sadiyaan’, even went to the extent of posting his picture alongside Pattinson for a comparison.
