Patna, Dec 2 (Inditop.com) Two brothers, Ikramul Khan and Ali Hussain who are suffering from progeria, a disease that accelerates ageing process, say their last wish is to meet Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan and thank him for creating awareness about it.

Amitbah plays a 13-year-old boy suffering from progeria in his forthcoming film “Paa” that releases Friday.

“We want to meet Amitabh Bachchan to say thanks for creating awareness about progeria. We look forward for someone to arrange our meeting with Amitabh Bachchan because it is beyond our reach to contact or approach him,” Ikramul, 23 told IANS over telephone from his ancestral house in Dumri village in Saran district of Bihar.

Ikramul and Ali’s faces and bodies shows symptoms of progeria, and they look middle-aged despite being in their early twenties.

Amitabh is one of their favourite actors other than Aamir Khan, Salman Khan and Hrithik Roshan. They enjoy watching Hindi films and singing songs.

“We wish to meet Amitabh Bachchan but till date it is unfulfilled,” said Ali, 22.

Ikramul and Ali said that ever since they have come to know that a film called “Paa” starring Big B as progeria patient is coming, they wanted to meet him.

“It is now our last wish to spend some time with Amitabh Bachchan,” Ali said.

The brothers’ parents are finding it difficult to fulfil their wish. Their mother Razia Khatoon said: “How can we approach Amitabh Bachchan, who is is a big star, to request him to share a few moments with my sons.”

Both the brothers are confident and hopeful. “God will fulfil our wish. We will meet him one day,” they said.

Doctors have told Khatoon that her sons have no chance of living beyond their early twenties. Her three elder daughters – Guriya, Rehana and Rubina too died of progeria at 17, 24 and 13 respectively.

Khatoon says that her family is cursed as five of her eight children suffered from progeria. “My three other children are healthy and normal,” she said.
