London, Sep 3 (Inditop.com) “Amercian Idol” judge Simon Cowell and his ex-girlfriend Teri Seymour are being sued by a female chef for not returning her shoes that had orthopaedic insoles worth $500.
According to Tmz.com, the chef claims Seymour told her to take her shoes off and wear a “clear-bottom” pair when coming into the house. Later she realised that she left the shoes in Cowell’s Los Angeles house and made several attempts to get the footwear back.
The chef went back to the house when Seymour’s assistant said she had found them, but the shoes given to her weren’t hers. So she is now suing Cowell for $661.59 to pay for her shoes and the $9 in petrol she wasted driving over.
A rep for Simon and Seymour said “this is a ridiculous story”. The rep clarified that the chef left the shoes at the residence and that the couple did try to return them.
